Description:

SDI Engineering was responsible for the design of a precast girder bridge deck system. This system utilized 17 precast prestressed concrete girdered that are tied together using shear keys and transverse post tensioning. This new system was developed in conjunction with Capital Precast Ltd. The concept is based loosly on the Bulb Tee Girder system used throughout much of the Northwestern U.S.
