North Atlantic Refining - Reactor R1601 Lift Tower

SDI was retained by Fagioli Group to provide engineering analysis and design services for a lift tower used to lift Reactor R1601 at North Atlantic Refinery. This reactor is 100 ft. high and weighs in excess of 320 tonnes. An analysis and code review was performed to applicable Canadian codes. The vessel was successfully lifted into place in late March of 2006.
