Blast Resistant Structures
SDI offers the unique and specialized service of design of blast resistant structures. Common in petrochemical facilities, SDI Engineering has the in house capability of designing and analysing various structures under blast loadings. This includes analysis to the Americain Society of Civil Engineering's Design of Blast Resistant Buildings in Petrochemical Facilities. Additionally, a detailed time dependant finite element analysis (both linear and non linear) can per performed to accuratly predict structure reponse to the blast loading. Structures may include:
